Systematics and Phylogeny of European Characeae
摘要
This chapter gives an overivew about recent systematics of charophytes in the light of the ongoing debate about ancestors of land plants. Position of charophytes within the lineages of green algae are presented as well as recent insights into systematics of Charophyceae itself.
