摘要
In most undergraduate courses the concept of coordinate system and coordinate transformation which is in the base of all theories of Physics, and particularly in Special Relativity, it is assumed to be known. However this is not the case for the new comer in Special Relativity and this results in confusions and misunderstandings of the theory. Therefore in the following we discuss briefly these concepts without getting into mathematical details. Furthermore we provide a number of worked examples which show how these concepts are used in practice.
