Complete Reparable Rotator Cuff Tears

Rotator cuff tears represent a very frequent pathology. Even though clinical examination may support the presumption of cuff rupture, magnetic resonance image is the preferred tool for diagnosing, classifying, and treatment planification. While conservative treatment is reserved for elder and comorbid patients; surgical treatment is of choice for young patients and acute ruptures. Arthroscopic repair allows to assess the rupture’s size and geometry, the number of compromised tendons, and permits tendon repair.
