摘要

Giant cell tumors (GCT) of bone are benign, locally aggressive bone tumors that commonly affect the epi-metaphyseal area of long bones in young adults. While surgery with extended intralesional curettage is the mainstay of treatment for most extremity lesions, en-bloc resection may be indicated for extensive tumors or those involving the axial skeleton. Tumor recurrence is a common complication, and various adjuvant therapies are available for use prior to, during, and after surgery for local control.
