摘要

Primary bone tumors are considered overall infrequent conditions. However, bone abnormalities can be common; thus, a schematic and straightforward approach is needed to differentiate nonaggressive tumors from destructive bone lesions. Benign bone tumors are a broad spectrum of neoplasm. Therefore, management can range from simple observation and careful radiographic follow-up to immediate surgical treatment in case of aggressive lesions that threaten the host bone’s integrity. This chapter gives emphasis on the most common histologies and their management, with particular attention to clinical presentation, evaluation, early referral, and general treatment.
