Wrist and Hand Tendinopathies
摘要
Hand and wrist tendinopathies are one of the most frequent causes of medical consultation. Although the usual histopathological finding is the absence of inflammation, the terms tendinitis or tenosynovitis are still using. The clinical presentation is determinant, and generally the pain is the most common manifestation. Conservative treatment is usually the first step, and similar to all tendinopathies. When symptoms persist, surgical release of the pulley is recommended with a high rate of success.
