Nutrition and Chronic Kidney Disease
摘要
Dietary intervention is of high importance for people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), both for disease outcome and for prevention and treatment of malnutrition (over- and under-nutrition). The generalized metabolic and nutritional disturbances, the frequent occurrence of protein caloric malnutrition, and the evidence that diet can delay the progression of renal failure show that nutrition is very important in the therapeutic approach of people with CKD.
