As kidney disease is increasing globally, understanding teamwork in slowing the progression of the disease or managing it along its trajectory is important. In this chapter, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary care teams are compared. It then discusses the domains of kidney care nursing practice and explores the differences between nurses, advanced practice nurses, and nurse practitioners.
