Management of Chronic Kidney Disease
摘要
This chapter defines chronic kidney disease (CKD), its prevalence, clinical implications, and economic costs. And it provides the skills required for the practical management of CKD by explaining the concept of hyperfiltration, its importance in the progression of CKD, and the tools available to correct it. It also covers classic (hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, and obesity) and emerging (hyperuricemia and metabolic acidosis) cardiovascular risk factors, as well as CKD-MBD and the management of anemia in CKD.
