摘要

In this chapter, recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) products are discussed. Over the years, several different FSH products were introduced, i.e., follitropin alfa, follitropin beta, follitropin delta, and an FSH analog, corifollitropin alfa (CFA), a sustained follicle stimulant (SFS) designed to have a prolonged half-life. Structural aspects of these highly glycosylated proteins are explained and clinical implications discussed.
