Instruments
摘要
Vitrectomy is a fundamental technique in the treatment of numerous retinal and vitreous pathologies. The wide range of instruments used in these procedures allows the surgeon to adapt the surgical approach to each individual case. This chapter discusses the main types of instruments used in pars plana vitrectomy, such as intraocular forceps, scissors, cannulas, foreign body removal tools, and membrane manipulation devices. We explore their indications, structural features, advantages, and technical considerations that impact surgical outcomes.
