Diabetic Retinopathy
摘要
Diabetic retinopathy is one of the leading causes of decreased visual acuity in the world. The increase in the number of people with diabetes mellitus in the world population, increased number of clinical treatments for this disease, and the increase in longevity result in a significant increase of diabetic retinopathy cases. This chapter discusses several studies on the nonsurgical treatment options for diabetic macular edema and diabetic retinopathy.
