Conclusion
摘要
The purpose of this book was to present the importance of leadership wholeness by applying the spiritual intelligence model crafted from the lived experience of top leaders in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. The key findings of a leader’s journey to wholeness, awareness, acceptance, awakening, and service, which comprise the inner and outer dimensions of leadership wholeness, are presented in the SI Model. These dynamic infinity loop processes of the inner dimensions mark the leadership journey’s existential, learning, moral, and spiritual aspects. In contrast, the outer dimensions of trust, responsibility, justice, compassion, and stewardship mark the leadership journey’s personal, organizational, social, global, and environmental aspects, as depicted in the SI model. By examining the salient concepts of wholeness/spiritual intelligence in classical and contemporary perspectives, the deeper dimensions of the leader’s self in relationship with community, workplace, and natural environment are unveiled. These spiritual perspectives indicate that leaders’ quest for wholeness is a multidimensional, continuous, nonlinear process of exploration, growth, and fulfillment. The enhanced understanding gained from applying the phenomenon of wholeness from the leadership perspective can inform the application of spiritual intelligence for leaders, teams, and organizations in the contemporary world. This work has several implications for scholars, academics, leaders, and practitioners interested in better understanding and applying leadership wholeness from the perspective of spiritual intelligence.
