Ruling Economic Contractual Relations: The Predictability of Pandemics and of Their Implications

The paper examines the possibility of an abatement of contractual obligations the object of which are performances the fulfilment of which is hindered by the sanitary crisis originated from the spread of CoViD-19, the restrictive measured enacted in relation to it and the repercussions commonly felt and, in particular, by the decrease in debtors’ earnings and incomes.
