In the preceding chapters, we have underlined the complexity of language and the problems one faces when analyzing it using mathematical tools. As we mentioned when discussing grammaticality and acceptability, sometimes people prefer acceptable rather than grammatical linguistic productions so that any analyzer based on strict grammatical rules will fail.
