Creativity and Innovation in Company Formation
摘要
In this article, we discuss, after a brief clarification of the relationship between creativity and innovation, what role the topic has played so far in the scientific entrepreneurship literature and how, above all, explicit creativity research in this area could be expanded in the future. To this end, we first analyze the still manageable explicit creativity research in entrepreneurship, which focuses on the individual, the team, or the social network of founders. Then, we discuss to what extent the topic of creativity in this research represents at least an implicit topic. Based on this, and pleading for the adoption of a relational practice perspective on entrepreneurship as organization and/or network creation, we identify several potentials for creativity research in studies of entrepreneurship.
