Collaborative Platform for Experimentation on Production Planning Models

Researchers usually use optimization software and solvers to run their production planning models. However, this software does not allow to collaboratively work with other researchers to improve existing models. In addition, and as far as we know, there is no platform that allows the exchange of production planning models and of experimental and real data instances for the production planning problem. This paper aims to design and implement a collaborative and interoperable web platform in which researchers can formulate and reuse models for production planning. In fact, it allows technical integration of interoperability at data and service level (sharing data models and obtained results and standardizing the design and execution of models). This tool can also be used to carry out experimentation on the different production planning models developed with diverse data instances, being able to draw conclusions about the applicability of each model.
