摘要

We present a case of pharmacoresistant temporal-plus epilepsy that features simultaneous ictal onset from the temporal and orbitofrontal areas. We discuss available surgical interventions, outcomes, and their predictors in patients with temporal-plus epilepsy syndrome. We briefly summarize the predictive value of stimulation-induced seizures in determining post-operative outcome. We analyze semiologies such as forced thinking, hypermotor manifestations, tonic and clonic movements, versive head and gaze deviation, hyperventilation, and forceful eye-blinking. Lastly, we discuss the significance of early and late post-operative seizure recurrence.
