Impact of COVID19 on the Sustainable Development Goals Implementation in Bangladesh

As a third world developing country, Bangladesh recently graduated in the middle-income country club has improved most of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) index since 2015. Since the outbreak, the implementation of the SDGs in Bangladesh went down; however, compared to the many countries in the world, Bangladesh is still one of the top achievers of the SDG indexes and has prepared its one National Priority Targets (NPT). According to the recent Cambridge University Press, when many countries are scrambling to survive, Bangladesh has continued its above 6% GDP growth and improved in most SDGs. In this current article, we will be exploring the significant reasons behind this overwhelming success of Bangladesh’s SDG accomplishment.
