Nanostructured Highly Sensitive and Selective Electrochemical Sensors and Their Applications
摘要
Industry and medical advances require innovative materials and advanced technologies for accurate results. There is still a need for straightforward and quick diagnostic techniques for the early detection of the material, despite the impressive progress in stopping the disease’s progression. Due to their numerous shortcomings, including essential inaccuracy, low sensitivity, low efficiency, and time consumption, conventional procedures fall outside the fundamental needs of industry and modern medicine. Electrochemical sensor analysis has recently received much attention due to its inherent benefits, which include quick response times, increased sensitivity, time savings, and specific operating characteristics for detecting materials. For neurological diagnostics, clinical, point-of-care diagnostics, and the medical industries, potential applications of electrochemical sensors based on advanced functional nanomaterials are also briefly discussed. Electrochemical signals, including conductance, current, resistance, and voltage curves, are considered parameters to show changes in objective compositions. Biological, biomedical, biotechnological, clinical, and medical diagnostics, as well as food, environmental, and health monitoring, are just a few of the many uses. Due to their advantageous properties, such as low cost, miniaturization, energy efficiency, simple fabrication, online monitoring, and simultaneous sensing capability, electrochemical biosensing platforms have captivated interdisciplinary research fields spanning chemistry, material science, biological science, and medical industries.
