Eastern University Astronomy
摘要
One of the ultimate goals of astronomical research can be stated, if rather vaguely, as the quest to understand the evolution of the Universe. The early post-war starts by the UK, the Netherlands and Australia sowed inspiration that took root elsewhere and flourished rapidly during the late 1950s and early 1960s. A somewhat similar pattern of interests and experiments in radio astronomy can be traced in Canadian university departments of physics and engineering.
