Meteors, Radar and the Solar System

You might well ask what meteors have to do with radio astronomy. The connection will become apparent: meteor observations in Canada evolved from visual to radar, and the development of meteor radar provided a basis for the technologies of radio astronomy in Canada. However, the Canadian meteor science story is particularly interesting in its own right.
