In this compilation, essential formula symbols that are used several times, their meaning and their unit are listed in alphabetical order. Explanations can be found under the chapter number given in the last column. To distinguish between photometric and physical formula symbols, the indices “v” (visual) and “e” (energetic) are added in the individual chapters (where necessary for clarification) (see 1.2.1 ).
