“Lighting, both natural and artificial, is so much a part of our daily lives that it is unfortunately often taken for granted. And because it is so easy to use and handle, the responsibility for its application is, in the vast majority of cases, willingly and happily assumed by those who neither have the necessary training nor the appropriate experience” (Harris 1985).
