Pediatric Pericardial Diseases

Pericardial diseases are both congenital and acquired. This chapter provides an in-depth overview of the various pericardial diseases including the diverse etiologies, varying clinical presentations, different diagnostic modalities, and our current medical and surgical treatment approaches. Throughout the chapter, we have highlighted pediatric studies where such literature exists.
