This chapter deals comprehensively with pediatric myocarditis and endocarditis. First, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation are described. Further focus is placed on the heterogeneous symptoms, and the different diagnostics of pediatric myocarditis and endocarditis are described in detail. Finally, therapeutic options are presented, and differential diagnoses are explained.
