Fetal Transposition of the Great Arteries

In this chapter, we review the fetal diagnosis and presentation of transposition of the great arteries as well as corrected transposition. A brief review of the anatomy and pathophysiology of these lesions is followed by a review of the fetal echocardiographic evaluation of both lesions. There will also be a thorough review of perinatal management, including genetic evaluation, counseling, monitoring of fetal hemodynamics, and finally delivery planning.
