Fetal Echocardiography
摘要
The performance of a fetal echocardiogram allows for a detailed anatomic and hemodynamic assessment of the fetal cardiovascular system. Congenital heart disease is a leading cause of infant morbidity and mortality. Prenatal detection of cardiac defects can result in improved postnatal outcomes. Findings can impact delivery location, delivery room management, and neonatal care. Indications and guidelines for the performance of a fetal echocardiogram including two-dimensional, Doppler, and M-mode modalities will be reviewed.
