Under a Radioactive Cloud: The Citizen Counter-Expertise of the Commission for Independent Research and Information about Radiation
摘要
The origins and activities of CRIIRAD (Commission de Recherche et d’Information Indépendantes sur la Radioactivité; Commission for Independent Research and Information about Radiation) are closely related to the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and its aftermath. Founded to challenge the response of the French government to the Chernobyl crisis, CRIIRAD developed over the 35 years of its existence a solid expertise on the measurement of radioactive fallout, establishing links with similar associations in other countries, particularly in Belarus.
