摘要

Ibn al-Qayyim, an Islamic scholar born in 1292, gained recognition for his studies under Ibn Taymiyya. He, a scholar with a keen interest in theological, political, and social matters, resided during the period of the Crusader wars and Mongol invasions. He is often regarded as a prominent figure in the New Hanbalism or Salafism movements. Despite encountering incarceration and suppression, he produced numerous significant literary works and imparted knowledge to his students. Ibn Taymiyya primarily influenced his beliefs, shaping them along a Salafist trajectory. Ibn al-Qayyim, a scholar who analyzed the Islamic economy, focused on the concepts of justice as well as the economic impact of zakat (charitable giving) and interest. He particularly emphasized the importance of social obligations. Ibn al-Qayyim, who passed away in 1350, authored numerous works in the areas of tafsir, hadith, kalam, fiqh, and usul-i fiqh.
