Musāqāt
摘要
In this entry, we analyze musāqāt from the perspective of Islamic law. Musāqāt refers to a garden-labor partnership, where someone is handed over a tree or vineyard in exchange for sharing its fruit. Various Islamic sects hold different views on the types of plants to which musāqāt can be applied. Our study provides an in-depth discussion on these varying perspectives and the conditions of musāqāt based on the respective sects. Furthermore, the contract’s termination issues are also addressed. To summarize, this entry’s primary objective is to scrutinize musāqāt through the Islamic law perspective, exhibit diverse sects’ viewpoints on this subject, and investigate the contract’s conditions comprehensively.
