摘要

Established in the United Arab Emirates in 1997, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) is a financial institution that operates in adherence to Islamic principles. The bank prioritizes values such as innovation, transparency, simplicity, mutual benefit, sensitivity, and tolerance. It is noteworthy that this bank is the pioneer in offering interest-free financial products based on profit/loss sharing in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The company provides a range of financial products to individual consumers, including savings accounts, Islamic credit cards, house financing, and personal finance. Additionally, it offers various services to corporate customers, such as trade finance, project finance, and working capital. The bank allocates substantial resources toward technological advancements and endeavors to promptly address client needs through digital transformation endeavors, including the implementation of online banking and mobile banking services. The institution houses the Analytics Center of Excellence (ACE), which serves as the digital command center for the region. Its primary objective is to enhance operational effectiveness, optimize performance, and enhance adaptability to market dynamics through the utilization of data and artificial intelligence technology. The commendable performance exhibited by Islamic banks during the 2008 Global Financial Crisis has garnered significant attention. It has been asserted that these organizations exhibit a higher degree of resilience in the face of crises as a result of their distinctive structure, in contrast to their traditional equivalents. Despite a decline in the profitability of banks operating within the Islamic finance sector subsequent to the crisis, no significant issues have been observed in other financial indicators. Islamic banks have demonstrated superior performance in various aspects, including total assets, market share, liquidity, and nonperforming loans, as compared to conventional banks. Over the past few years, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank has exhibited a consistent and favorable trajectory in its financial measures. The company successfully extends its investment portfolio to strategically target markets including Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UK, Qatar, Sudan, and Iraq.
