Developing Eight
摘要
This study examines the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization, whose establishment was pioneered by the Turkish politician Necmettin Erbakan, and which consists of eight countries with a majority Muslim population. The purpose of its establishment is to develop together by increasing cooperation and mutual trade among Islamic countries. The D-8, which came to life as a result of the joint efforts of Muslim countries to find solutions to similar problems and common development efforts, sets an important example in this field, regardless of the rate of achieving its goals.
