Islamic Capitalism
摘要
Islamic capitalism is an economic system in which the objectives of capital accumulation and religion are closely intertwined and inseparable. This integration necessitates the implementation of social justice measures to ensure security and stability within society. The Shari’ah, regarded by Muslims as a divine source of guidelines, constitutes the foundational framework of Islamic capitalism. It encompasses the words of Allah (the Qur’an) and the words and deeds of the Prophet Muhammad, as recorded in traditional literature (the Sunnah). Muslims utilize the Shari’ah as a foundational reference in all aspects of their lives, including market exchanges. Islamic capitalism is predicated on the individual and collective behavior of Muslims within an economic system, which differs from the individualism that forms the basis of Western capitalism. In this system, individuals, groups, or the state can possess capital, yet all ownership is regarded as a trust from Allah. The human race has been endowed with the capacity to utilize the Earth’s resources while ensuring justice and respecting the rights and obligations of others, as outlined in Allah’s commandments.
