Bahrain Islamic Bank
摘要
The bank was established in 1979 as the inaugural Islamic financial institution in Bahrain and the fourth such entity in the Gulf region. It is subject to the Bahrain Commercial Companies Law, the Cash Law, and other pertinent legislation, and all of its transactions are conducted in accordance with the tenets of Islamic finance, particularly the prohibition of interest. The bank operates within the Islamic Retail Banking category, holding a license from the Central Bank of Bahrain and being listed on the Bahrain Stock Exchange. As a Sharia-compliant financial institution, BisB has reinforced its strategic position in the country. Since its establishment, BisB’s structure, based on Islamic law, has undergone four main stages of development. The bank offers a range of Islamic products and services, including the Murabah-based Tas’heel personal finance, the Al Thuraya Islamic financing account, the Al Wekala investment account, and automobile financing through Murabah. Additionally, BisB provides access to a variety of Islamic financing instruments, including Murabahah, Mudarabah, Musharakah, Bai Salam, Istisna, Ijarah, and Qard al-Hassan.
