Entrepreneurship

摘要

This entry examines the concept of entrepreneurship from an Islamic finance and economics perspective and discusses its role in the emergence and interpretation of practices in this field. Often referred to as a set of values and principles that promote free trade activities, Islam appears to endorse most forms of entrepreneurship as long as they are compliant to the cardinal principles. Thus, it is safe to argue that Islamic finance and economics is based, among others, on the idea of encouraged entrepreneurship which contributes a great deal to the novel introductions for those who want to take initiatives within the boundaries of Islamic business.
