Orthopedic Complications of Cancer Therapy

Improved cancer survivorship has increased the likelihood of cancer patients having musculoskeletal complaints related to their primary malignancy, thus necessitating the need for orthopedic surgeons to meet the diagnostic and management challenges. Orthopaedic complications can relate to the primary (or metastatic) tumour being treated or the type of treatment (surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy).
