Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis
摘要
Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is the most common adolescent hip disorder and is characterized by displacement of the capital femoral epiphysis from the metaphysis through the physis [1, 2]. In this condition, the epiphysis remains within the acetabulum, with anterosuperior translation and external rotation of the metaphysis. While the precise pathogenesis is not completely understood, it is likely multifactorial resulting in increased mechanical shear forces on a susceptible physis.
