Neonatal Brain Hemorrhage
摘要
Germinal matrix-intraventricular hemorrhage (GMH-IVH), intraparenchymal and cerebellar hemorrhages (CBH) are the most common form of neonatal intracranial hemorrhage and are characteristic of the premature infant. The significance of GMH-IVH lies in the marked complexity of this entity, as it shows persistent high incidence in the most immature infants, with worst impact noted with higher grades of bleed, leading to significant clinical implications with additional hospitalization and imaging costs [1].
