Voices with Echo: #NotOneMore

Definition: #NotOneMore is a hashtag campaign against gun violence that progressed into a collective outcry against violence against women and girls (VAWG) springing from the misogyny and toxic masculinity nature attributed to the Isla Vista murders. Much of the VAWG derives from patriarchal social norms, hegemonic masculinity, discriminatory practices, and repressive attitudes. Therefore, it is essential to understand and discuss the challenges surrounding VAWG and create the space to urge the world to listen and echo the voices of girls, women, survivors, and victims.
