Endometriosis Management in Developing Countries

The emergence of online management, including telemedicine and digital health platforms, offers promise in overcoming geographic barriers and expanding access to care. However, persistent challenges, such as limited access to medications, surgical interventions, and fertility preservation, underscore the urgent need for comprehensive solutions. This chapter presents a set of recommendations encompassing a wide range of strategies, including public health campaigns, healthcare provider training, policy advocacy, and community-based initiatives. The goal is to enhance awareness, diagnosis, treatment, and support for individuals with endometriosis in developing countries. In conclusion, managing endometriosis in developing countries requires a holistic approach that addresses clinical, educational, economic, and cultural factors. By implementing the recommended strategies and leveraging online management solutions, we can work toward a future where endometriosis is recognized early and managed effectively, improving the lives of those affected.
