There are many research fields related to the medical and health sciences education and practice. Medical, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, public health, health technology, medical laboratory, and complementary and alternative medicines are all fields within the healthcare industry that are focused on improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities. Priorities for health care, patient care, patient safety, and medical education research in developing countries will vary depending on the specific context and needs of each country.
