Quality of Diseases/Conditions Diagnosis Procedures in Developing Countries: Status and Future Recommendations

  • Yaser Mohammed Al-Worafi

摘要

The quality of diseases/conditions diagnosis procedures in developing countries has shown significant advancements, although challenges persist. Achievements include improved access to diagnostic tools and technologies, enhanced healthcare professional capacity, and the standardization of diagnostic protocols. Digital health technologies and telemedicine have also played a transformative role. However, limited resources, inadequate infrastructure, disparities in healthcare access, and cultural factors hinder the quality of disease diagnosis. Recommendations to address these challenges include strengthening healthcare infrastructure, enhancing access to diagnostic tools, investing in training and capacity building, promoting standardization, and leveraging digital health technologies. Other suggestions include improving financial resources, addressing disparities, and strengthening collaborations. These measures will contribute to improved patient outcomes and overall healthcare delivery in developing countries.
