The quality of healthcare systems in developing countries is a matter of concern due to various challenges that hinder effective and efficient healthcare delivery. This chapter provides an overview of the current status, challenges, achievements, and recommendations related to healthcare quality in developing countries. It highlights key challenges such as limited resources, inadequate infrastructure, healthcare workforce shortages, socioeconomic disparities, and cultural barriers. The chapter presents recommendations to address these challenges, including strengthening healthcare funding, infrastructure, and workforce capacity, promoting patient-centered care and community engagement, enhancing health information systems, and addressing disparities.
