Eco Health in Developing Countries

  • Yaser Mohammed Al-Worafi

摘要

Eco health is of utmost importance in developing countries, where environmental degradation and health disparities are prevalent. This interdisciplinary field recognizes the interconnectedness between human health and the environment, emphasizing sustainability, equity, biodiversity conservation, and systems thinking. While significant achievements have been made, challenges persist, including limited resources, weak infrastructure, health inequalities, climate change impacts, and limited research capacity. To overcome these challenges, it is recommended to strengthen policy integration, increase funding, enhance research and data collection, promote community engagement, and foster international cooperation. Additionally, recommendations include promoting sustainable agriculture, improving access to clean energy and water, strengthening disaster risk reduction, and prioritizing climate change adaptation. Implementing these recommendations can lead to sustainable development, improved health outcomes, and resilient communities in developing countries.
