Injuries: Causes in Developing Countries
摘要
Injuries in developing countries present a major public health concern, with diverse causes influenced by social, economic, and environmental factors. This chapter explores the causes of injuries in these contexts and offers recommendations to address them effectively. Common causes include road traffic accidents, occupational hazards, domestic injuries, violence, and more. To combat these causes, strategies such as strengthening infrastructure, promoting education and awareness, improving healthcare access, and fostering collaboration among sectors are essential. By implementing these recommendations, developing countries can make significant strides in preventing and reducing the burden of injuries, thereby enhancing the health and safety of their populations.
