Healthy Diet in Developing Countries: Challenges and Recommendations
摘要
Promoting a healthy diet in developing countries is of paramount importance for addressing nutritional challenges and improving overall well-being. This chapter highlights the challenges faced in these settings, including food insecurity, limited dietary diversity, inadequate access to clean water, cultural norms, and limited resources. It provides evidence-based recommendations to promote healthy diets, such as strengthening nutrition education, improving food availability and accessibility, enhancing food safety and quality control, addressing socioeconomic disparities, implementing policies for healthy food environments, and fostering multi-sectoral collaboration. These recommendations aim to empower individuals, communities, and governments to adopt sustainable and context-specific strategies for promoting healthy diets and improving nutrition outcomes in developing countries.
