Health Literacy Assessment
摘要
Health literacy assessment is essential in evaluating individuals’ ability to access, understand, and utilize health information. This chapter discusses the achievements, challenges, and recommendations for health literacy assessment in developing countries. The achievements include increased awareness, development of localized tools, and integration into public health programs. However, challenges such as limited resources, language diversity, and low literacy rates persist. Recommendations encompass tailored interventions, capacity building, community engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainable funding. The integration of health literacy into healthcare systems, advocacy for policy support, and collaboration with educational institutions are also emphasized. By implementing these recommendations, developing countries can enhance health literacy assessment, promote health equity, and empower individuals to make informed health decisions.
