Health promotion in schools is vital in developing countries to improve the health and well-being of students. This chapter highlights the achievements, quality considerations, challenges, and recommendations related to health promotion in schools. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and infrastructure deficiencies, health promotion initiatives have led to increased health awareness, behavior change, and improved academic performance. Culturally appropriate approaches, evidence-based interventions, and teacher capacity building are essential to enhance the quality of health promotion. Community engagement, policy support, and collaboration among stakeholders are crucial for sustainable health promotion in schools.
