Vaccination in Developing Countries: Pediatrics

  • Yaser Mohammed Al-Worafi

摘要

Pediatric vaccination is of utmost importance in developing countries to prevent infectious diseases and protect child health. This chapter explores the achievements, access issues, equitable access, safety considerations, challenges, and recommendations related to pediatric vaccination in developing countries. Significant progress has been made in disease control and expanded vaccine coverage, but barriers to access and equity persist. Ensuring vaccine supply, improving healthcare infrastructure, addressing socioeconomic disparities, and fostering community engagement are vital. Enhancing safety monitoring, promoting vaccine confidence, and strengthening health systems are crucial for successful vaccination programs. Collaboration, research, and sustainable financing are key to improving pediatric vaccination in developing countries.
